Restorative Yoga is a deeply nourishing practice that helps us release deep physical and emotional tension and stress. Taking the time to practice in this way on a regular basis helps us make space to process our feelings and get to know ourselves on a deeper level. In this retreat-like training, you will learn how to create, guide, practice, and teach customized Restorative Yoga classes and how to incorporate restorative poses into private yoga sessions and other types of yoga classes. Each day we will practice Restorative Yoga poses, so we can explore and feel the effects of the pose while learning how to teach it. No experience required!
**This training will give you 33 hours of continuing education credits for yoga teachers and 33 hours towards the Yoga Life Club 300 Hour/ 500 Hour Yoga Teacher Training.**
Required Reading: Deep Listening by Jillian Pransky. You will also get an extensive manual for the course with all of the notes so you can focus on experiencing the course. The manual is included in the price of the course, but you need to purchase the book on your own.
