This training will give you the tools to teach prenatal yoga with confidence. Learn how to support pregnant moms during their journey into parenthood in this comprehensive 30-hour training with Trish McCarver, E-RYT200, RPYT, PCES 2.0.
This training offers you a combination of alignment-based poses designed specifically for mom and her growing belly along with evidence-based information about the journey of pregnancy. It will allow you to safely guide moms during all trimesters of their pregnancy, empowering their birth journey, and guiding them to a confident postnatal transition.
Topics covered include:
- Physical changes and what to expect during each trimester
- The benefits of breath work and mindfulness
- Accessing the pelvic floor and dealing with common pregnancy complaints
- Effective teaching tools to guide moms into a safe and beneficial yoga practice
- Self care needs and postnatal recommendations
- The importance of touch and massage
- The use of props and tools to aid in every trimester
This training is suitable for yoga teachers, women’s health professionals, doulas and practicing seasoned yoga students wanting to learn more for their own birth.
Dates: November 10 (evening), November 11 and November 12, 2023
Times: Friday, 5:30-8:30PM, Saturday, 8:30AM-4:30PM, Sunday, 9AM-4PM
Tuition: $500. Due in full at least 7 days before the training starts.
A 60-page bound manual with pose pictures is included.
